Play Moortown and Alwoodley

Alwoodley and Moortown are only half a mile apart and their histories remain intertwined. Both courses are staples in GB&I Top 100 Courses lists and they offer enduring examples of MacKenzie’s design principles: his trademarks include large, undulating putting surfaces, manmade mounding sculpted to look entirely natural, asymmetrical bunkering that blends into its surroundings and greens often set at a slight angle to the direction of approach.

Stay and Play Package

Alwoodley and Moortown are offering a great-value stay-and-play package for the new season allowing you to experience two Top 100 courses in one trip. From £299, play one course on a Sunday afternoon, stay overnight at a nearby 4 Star Hotel and then play the second course the following morning. The price includes breakfast and is based on two people sharing a room. Package operates from April – October each year
