Open Competitions 2026
Before entering please ensure to check the entry criteria and please note prizes will only be awarded to players with official WHS handicaps, who are members of an affiliated Golf Club.
Unless stated otherwise the playing handicap limit for all open competitions is 18 for men and 24 for women. Players with higher playing handicaps may enter but will be restricted to these handicap limits. Men play from the Yellow Tees and Women from the Red Tees in all events.
Seniors AMAM – Monday 27th AprilTeams of 4, can be made up of any combination of men and women, i.e. 4 men, 4 women, 3 men and 1 women etc. Entrants must be 55 years of age or over on the day of play. |
Mixed Open – Monday 4th May4BBB Stableford. Pairs to be made up of 1 man and 1 women. Entry fee includes lunch following the completion of play. |

Yorkshire Challenge – 9th to 11th SeptemberThree day event played across Yorkshire for Ryder Cup venues – Moortown, Ganton & Lindrick – supported by Titleist and Footjoy. |
MacKenzie Classic – 1st & 2nd OctoberMen’s AMAM Team 2 day event, played at Alwoodley & Moortown, the first two Alistair MacKenzie designed courses in the World. |
