Alwoodley and Moortown are only half a mile apart and their histories remain intertwined. Both courses are staples in GB&I top 100 courses lists and they offer enduring examples of MacKenzie’s design principles: his trademarks include large, undulating putting surfaces, manmade mounding sculpted to look entirely natural, asymmetrical bunkering that blends into its surroundings and greens often set at a slight angle to the direction of approach.

Stay-and-play package - Alwoodley and Moortown are offering a great-value stay-and-play package for the new season allowing you to experience two Top 100 courses in one trip. For £205, play one course on a Sunday afternoon, stay overnight at a nearby 4 Star Hotel and then play the second course the following morning. The price includes breakfast and is based on two people sharing a room. How to Book or for more information, or call 0113 268 1680.
